Orbital Slots and Spectrum Use in an Era of Interference

When: Thursday, October 9, 2014

Where: Thon Hotel EU Brussels - 75 rue de la Loi - 1040 Brussels (metro: Maelbeek)

On Thursday, Oct. 9, 2014, from 9 AM - 5:15 PM the Secure World Foundation (SWF) and Institut français des relations internationals (IFRI) will co-hosted an event on radiofrequency interference (RFI) in Brussels, Belgium.  This one-day conference examined how RFI affects a variety of issues, including freedom of information (deliberate interference), terrestrial telecommunication services (notably C-band), and governance of the geostationary arc (unintentional interference). It was a follow-up from a similar event that Ifri hosted in April 2013.
