Since 2013, Secure World Foundation (SWF) has partnered with the Maui Economic Development Board (MEDB) to hold an invite-only workshop that promotes collaboration and cooperation on space situational awareness (SSA).The AMOS Dialogue in Maui was a gathering of space policy leaders, industry professionals, and experts that focused on the challenges and opportunities related to space security, technology, and sustainability. Held at the Wailea Beach Resort Marriott in Maui, Hawaii, the event featured discussions on key themes, including the evolving role of space in global security and commerce, as well as the importance of international cooperation. The dialogue offered a unique opportunity to exchange perspectives on how to address current and emerging threats to space assets, with a particular focus on creating frameworks for the responsible use of space.
