Ian Christensen, SWF Senior Director, Private Sector Programs, will speak at the Second Annual U.S. Space Forum, taking place October 15–16, 2026, at the Vienna International Centre in Vienna, Austria.

Hosted by the U.S. Mission to International Organizations in Vienna, the two-day forum will focus on commercial space capabilities, innovation, and international coordination. The forum is designed to expose international delegates directly to commercial space actors and provide a setting for discussion on current and future challenges in international space policy.

Mr. Christensen has been invited to participate as a panelist in a session focused on COPUOS observers. The forum is expected to draw diplomatic missions in Vienna, COPUOS delegations, Artemis Accords signatory nations, U.S. government officials, commercial space representatives, and experts from academia.

Forum topics are expected to include space situational awareness, satellite manufacture and deployment, on-orbit servicing, the low Earth orbit economy, space resources, and lunar activities.
