Secure World Foundation will participate in the U.S. Naval War College’s Future Warfighting Symposium, taking place August 5–6, 2026, in Newport, Rhode Island.

The Future Warfighting Symposium launches the Naval War College academic year and convenes subject matter experts to address topics connected to professional military education, emerging technologies, new capabilities, and changing domains of conflict.

Victoria Samson, SWF Chief Director, Space Security and Stability, will speak on a panel examining the current state of space security and sustainability, possibilities for arms control, and norms for responsible behavior in outer space.

The panel will also include Doug Loverro, Kevin Pollpeter of CNA, and retired Lt. Gen. DeAnna Burt of the U.S. Space Force.

The symposium’s primary audience includes in-residence Naval War College students, including mid-grade and senior officers from the uniformed services, civilian agencies of the U.S. government, and international officers from partner countries.

For questions, please contact Victoria Samson.
