Secure World Foundation to Participate in GEO Programme Board Meeting

Secure World Foundation will participate in the GEO Programme Board Meeting, to be held on February 10–11, 2026, in Geneva, Switzerland.

Kaitlin Azelton will represent SWF at the meeting following her participation in the COPUOS Scientific and Technical Subcommittee session in Vienna. The timing of the meeting enables in-person participation.

Agenda items will include coordination support activities, development of GWP Phase II, drafting the GWP Monitoring and Evaluation Framework, review of the Post-2025 Incubator Roadmap, and planning for the 2026 GEO Symposium.

The GEO Programme Board serves as the primary governing body of the Group on Earth Observations, providing strategic direction for international cooperation on Earth observation and related data use in support of sustainable development and environmental monitoring.
