Secure World Foundation to Participate in the 62nd Session of the COPUOS Scientific and Technical Subcommittee

Secure World Foundation will participate in the 62nd session of the Scientific and Technical Subcommittee (STSC) of the United Nations Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space (COPUOS), to be held from February 2–13, 2026, in Vienna, Austria.

Paulina Martinez, Ian Christensen, and Kaitlin Azelton will represent SWF at the session. Ms. Martinez and Mr. Christensen will participate in discussions related to space situational awareness, while Ms. Azelton will attend the general sessions and may participate in the lunar working group. SWF staff will also attend informal meetings, side events, and technical presentations as appropriate.

Secure World Foundation will deliver its Exchange of Views statement during the session, highlighting recent SWF activities relevant to the work of the Subcommittee.

SWF Advisory Committee member Bruce McClintock will also attend the session as part of the SWF delegation.
