Almudena Azcárate Ortega to Lecture in McGill University’s Strategic Space Law Course
On October 26, 2026, Secure World Foundation’s Almudena Azcárate Ortega will serve as a lecturer for McGill University’s 2026 Strategic Space Law Course.
Azcárate Ortega will lead a session on “Arms Control in Outer Space,” drawing on her expertise in international space law and space security to examine legal and policy considerations surrounding arms control in the space domain.
McGill University’s Strategic Space Law Course brings together experts and participants to examine the legal and policy frameworks governing contemporary space activities and emerging challenges for the international community.
Azcárate Ortega’s participation supports Secure World Foundation’s work to advance informed dialogue on space security, international law, and the development of responsible approaches to activities in outer space.
The course will be held virtually.
