Space Sustainability

We're incredibly honored to announce that the IAASS awarded its prestigious Joseph P. Loftus Space Sustainability Award to Secure World Foundation last night in Osaka. Named after Joseph P. Loftus, a pioneer in the field of orbital debris research, the award symbolizes the critical urgency of preventing the Kessler Syndrome, a cascade effect of space debris potentially making space missions unfeasible for many generations. This recognition underscores our ongoing efforts to ensure the sustainable use of space for the benefit of Earth and all its people. It is a testament to our team's collective action, and we remain dedicated to advancing sustainable space practices for the future. Our Executive Director, Dr. Peter Martinez, accepted the award on our behalf.
