Secure World Foundation will participate in the International Telecommunication Union Study Group 4 Working Party 4A meeting in Geneva, Switzerland.
Ian Christensen, SWF Senior Director, Private Sector Programs, will represent SWF during the first week of the meeting. SWF is an associate member of Working Party 4A, which focuses on efficient orbit and spectrum use for the fixed-satellite service and broadcasting-satellite service.
Ahead of the meeting, SWF will prepare an input contribution to the Handbook on Sustainable Use of Orbit and Frequencies. The contribution will build on prior SWF submissions and will be coordinated across SWF program staff.
Christensen is expected to present the contribution during the Working Party meeting. SWF’s participation supports continued engagement on the sustainable use of orbital and spectrum resources and the international processes that shape satellite operations.
